Breakfast comes at your hour, made to order, built from what you love, an allergy remembered, a child's one sure favourite, the particular bread you keep returning to, all of it noted long before you came.
The morning is already in place. The boat sits fuelled at the Rovinj pontoon for the hour you named, the truffle hunter expects you in the forest, or the day is left gloriously open, whichever you asked for. The concierge has made every call, so the whole of it comes to you arranged.
Where there are children, their day is settled in the same conversation, the early hours, the food they will eat, the evening on the lawn, every part of it already in hand.
The afternoon is yours to spend slowly, a long lunch, the shade of the garden, a book, a swim, an hour of sleep, the day measured by the light and the table while the phone stays where you left it.
All of it is the quiet work of a fully staffed house, a private chef for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a concierge, butler style service and housekeeping, and one unhurried conversation before you arrive. True luxury here is simply this, less to hold in mind, and more room to be.
